In the tradition of Santana, and George Benson, James Bryan commands the soul of the listener with his guitar, creating a sound at once fiery, passionate and soulful. A hit making songwriter, musician and producer with over a dozen top 20 hits, awards, and a handful of gold and platinum credits, James has worked with the who’s-who of the Canadian music community including Nelly Furtado, Fefe Dobson, and Divine Brown and is widely known as a member of multi platinum bands The Philosopher Kings nd Prozzak. In 2005, James decided to step out as a solo artist, with the critically acclaimed release of “Beautiful World” on Universal Music. Beautiful World mixes jazz and house with Latin and afro beat influences revealing James’ diversity as an artist. The album also features several talented vocalists, including Gavin Bradley and Aleza Coldevin, who are both signed to Bryan’s label, UMI Entertainment.

Solidifying his reputation as a world class musician, he currently tours the world as Nelly Furtado’s guitarist, which gave James the opportunity to perform in front of 70,000 people at Wembley Stadium for the historic “Concert for Diana”. Broadcast worldwide James was honored to share the stage with legendary and International artists such as Sir Elton John, Duran Duran, Rod Stewart, Lily Allen Joss Stone, Kanye West & More.
